Papi OdeQ & Tamasha Beats at Thursday Nite Live on 21st July, 2016

Papi OdeQ, and his band Tamasha Beats, is scheduled to stage a performance at the premier Nairobi gig, Thursday Nite Live, held at Choices Restaurant, Baricho Road, Nairobi, on 21st July, 2016.

Now in its fifth year, T.N.L is one of the longest running weekly live music gigs in Nairobi City. It is the brain child of events organizer Abdi Rashid Jibril of Roots International. Thursday Nite Live has featured some of the top artists in Kenya and also from outside the country. Some of the artists include; Eric Wainaina, Suzanna Owiyo, Sauti Sol among others.

Tamasha Beats is back in Uperhill!

The band, led by Singer/Songwriter Papi OdeQ, announced that they will, once again, be performing within the Upperhill Business District in Nairobi after a hiatus from the area for one and a half years. Tamasha Beats performed, as the resident band, at the Visa Place Restaurant in Upperhill for four years (2010 to 2014). The building that housed Visa Place has since been brought down.

 

Tamasha Beats will now be the resident band at the exquisite Bonds Garden Restaurant. Papi OdeQ and Tamasha Beats shall be hosting a Family Fun Day show EVERY SUNDAY FROM 2PM.

Tamasha Beats shall offer the best music as Bonds Restaurant offers some good food, a swimming pool and lots of games for the kids.

The THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE (TNL) gig, hosted by Rashid Jibril of ROOTS INTERNATIONAL, shall feature Papi OdeQ with his band Tamasha Beats, on 16th June 2015.

 

TNL is held every every THURSDAY, from 8pm, at one of Nairobi's renowned restaurants, CHOICES, situated on Baricho, right behind the Nakumatt Mega Supermarket.

 

According to Rashid, the organizer and host of the gig for the last 5 years, the gig seeks to promote Original Jazz, Acoustic and Fusion Kenyan Music.

 

Welcome all for a night of the best Afro-Fusion and Benga.
